Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Sinclair clasped his hands together firmly. "Currently, I'd imaginge he's on his way ter find some water- on my instructions."
He stood thoughtfully for a moment, considering, "I'll be double checking him later terday, I shoudl imagine, check he hasn't fallen down and done too much damage, but he'll be back ter his...duties termorrer, as ye see fit."
He doubted those duties were ones which Willoughby was looking forwads to, but there was no reason for he himself to get embroiled, no matter what he thought of it. And the army always needed rules, anyway.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Pierce felt like banging his head against a wall: he should have asked a sentry to keep an eye on Willoughby. Not the boy was under an arrest, but he did not particularly want him out of sight. He looked at the Major, wondering if the man had any questions for the Doctor.
[OOC: and I think we really should wait for the major to come and reply.]

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
While the men were still fresh and early into conversation he young Hussar was already returning. He stopped by the door, and stood outside in silence not knowing whether to return to the 'holding room' or whether to wait here till he was given orders. Well, since he was given none, he was best standing here and waiting till one of the officers popped their head out. He hadn't meant to loose it, and hoped that there would be a discretion of the officers and doctor that it would remain unknown to others.
Well he was sure the doctor had his oath to which he may swear to not discuss the health of his patients . And the Hussars. Well, they'd be damned if to have any of theirs ridiculated.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Major McIntyre looked up from the papers Pierce had been so eager to discuss when the doctor came into the room. "Ah, doctor" he answered with a slight inclination of his head, to acknowledge his presence this time, as if trying to amend his earlier behaviour.
He did not mind Pierce doing the talking again, inquiring after Willoughby. The Captain was always quick to adept to a situation, awkward as it may seem. That was one of the qualities he appreciated highly about the man, as it had saved himself from quite some embarrassing moments. And today had turned out to be a quite unusual day indeed.
"Glad to hear that Trooper Willoughby will be fully recovered soon" he answered the doctor's words. "As we can't do without him for long, can we Pierce?" and at that he looked to the Captian with the faintest of smirks playing around his lips. "But see to that he does not wander around loose till then" he addes in a sterner tone to Pierce "it won't do to have him trying his health and thus fail to attend to his duties again."
With that he turned back to the doctor "Thank you, doctor..." pausing briefly to wonder if he knew the man's name. "...for coming so quickly to assure that there had not been any real damage."
[ooc: sorry for not being around yesterday, but had a long workday and was really knackered and not able to write anything coherent on the Major's account ]

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Pierce gave the Major a small smile at the man's words to him, then walked to the door so he could summon a sentry without interrupting the conversation between the Major and the Doctor. He could not say he was really surprised to see Willoughby lounging outside. Stepping out of the office and ignoring the boy for a moment, he sent the sentry to fetch the sergeant who with Pierce earlier, and was no doubt lounging somewhere close by. Only then he turned to Willoughby.
'Well, well, Willowy. You also listen at the doors, do you?'

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
"No sir. I did not know where you wanted me, so I waited here.. that you would not need look for me, sir." He hadn't heared anything since he stood well away from the door. Enough atleast that what went inside remained a mystery to him. And so it was also right. It was not his place to hear what the officers discussed.
He looked at Pierce expectant of an answer. He still felt embarrassed about the fall. Atleast it was all over now. And if there would be another, well he would not run. Come what will.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
'Well, perhaps, there is hope for you yet, trooper, unless this glimmer of responsible action on your part is simply a freak.' Pierce grimaced, as if he just had an unpleasant thought. 'Sergeant Parker shall be here shortly to be assigned a most pleasant task of keeping an eye on you. We don't want you to slip away, do we now?' What Pierce was not going to say is that he trusted Parker to keep Willoughby out of trouble, and to inform him should trouble come looking for Willoughby.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
He would not slip away, not without having been permitted leave. Ofcourse he doubted the later would come anytime soon. He could not just voice his thoughts to Pierce. They would mean little to the captain. After all he was a trooper with a present record that wasn't too fine.
"Yes, sir." He spoke instead. "Your pelisse, sir." He held the garment, neatly folded, clean and fine, kept in his hold carefully. A Sergeant on his tail though. Willoughby found himself willing to sigh, but as a soldier he did keep his emotions on the topic fully hidden.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Pierce took his pelisse wordlessly and put it back on. 'Thank you, Willoughby,' he said sounding not at all grateful. There were footsteps down the hall and the sentry reappeared with Sergeant Parker.
'Please escort trooper Willoughby to his room and keep an eye on him, Sergeant.' Parker acknowledged the order and looked at Willoughby waiting for the lad to come with him.

Re: TD - 15th Hussars HQ - Major's office
Willoughby saluted, and then upon command and dismissal he followed Sergeant Parker's lead. He hadn't said a word, and he did his best to walk full normal. The leg was nearly fine and he needn't have taken more time than already to have it better.
