Putting faces to names

Hey - I haven't seen him before, or heard of Pillars of the Earth. He looks good!

Also, what's Pillars of the Earth about, and it is good?

Pillars of the Earth was based on a historical novel about the drama and intrigue surrounding the building of Kingsbridge Cathedral (a fictional mixture of Wells and Salisbury). It's actually insanely good. :-)

Oooh, he does look good! And I didn't know there was a miniseries of Pillars of the Earth! I just listened to the audiobook and I really enjoyed it. I want to see it!

You should watch it. I think they actually did a really good job (mind you, it's been a while since I've read the book, haha). I don't remember what channel it was on - I watched it with my uncle... if you have netflix, I think you can watch it instantly.

Oooh, I do indeed have Netflix, and I just got a cable to connect my computer to my TV! Exciting!

Was there a sequel book? Or maybe I'm misremembering things.

...I don't actually remember. Oops! Heh.

All right. I stayed up all night watching the entire series, and I expect I'm now going to have a bit of a crush on Burke. I already liked Jack in the book, but Eddie Redmayne was so handsome! (And what a good name, with his red mane.)

Wasn't it great? I thought they did a wonderful job with it. And, yeah - his name really does fit!

And, Burke is definitely okay with you having a crush on him, hehe. Does his ego good.

They did! I was pretty impressed that they fit it all in.

Aww, it's nice to have such an appreciative receptor for my crush. Maybe he can meet Jenny and she can send him a beautiful smile.

Oh my - still have to watch the last 3 parts of PoE. It went quite good then I jsut had no time to finish it. I loved the book for a long time so I was excited abotu it.

I never thought Regan rocked so hard, but in the series she and Waleran steal the show.

You should definitely watch the last 3 parts when you find the time. They're certainly worth it!

And, it would be very amusing to see Jenny smile at Burke. He'd probably fall over and make a fool of himself. For a boy with that many sisters, he is hopeless with women, hehe.

I keep linking to these in the Cbox, so I might as well put them up here. They're not all fantastic, but I'm still practising. My two favourites are the first two, and I think you may be able to see why. (The third's not bad, but I could improve the last one vastly!) The thumbnails are clickable. Unfortunately, they never show a bugler anywhere onscreen in Sharpe, much less a bugler in 60th uniform.
