Heya, I think some will remember Captain Hunter, whom I used to play here. 
Last I remember he returned after a reconnaissance mission to the army before Oporto.
If there is a place for him somewhere, he'll be glad to come and play!

There are French running about all over the place, and Nosey's around somewhere too.(And if you don't mind, we've gone to first name/surname, without rank, as usernames now, so I'll change Hunter's login username to reflect this.)

I'm not sure exactly what's planned for it, but there is currently a thread which involves a French patrol (Food for Thought) which may be able to provide victims... er plottage. Don't quote me on that, but it could be a possibility.

I have been operating under the assumption that they are east of Oporto, heading in the general direction of Talavera. But I could be completely wrong on that.

Heh, I think this need clarifying cause I am operating under the assumption that they did the historic thing and went to Abrantes, from where the army will go to Talavera. XD

D'oh. Yeah, and now that I'm re-looking at things, it looks like the French were pushed north, rather than east, into Spain.

Ungh, I am trying to do some Spanish Army research for my James Duff character and let me tell you their movements are just idiotically confusing.. >.<

True. >.< Although I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that if you go to Google Maps and get directions from Abrantes to Talavera, the road pretty much follows the line of Wellington's advance from Abrantes to Talavera. It certainly passes through a lot of same place.
