Hopefully Not Silly Questions

Im looking to make a character application but I have some questions first. I hope these don't sound stupid but I'm not used to this forum stuff. Most of my experiences are with yahoogroups.

In the app, it says see some sort of code in the rules. I reread those rules and maybe I'm missing the obvious but I don't see any code words for me to copy.

Second question - when I do the bio app, do I have to make it in some sort of code, I noticed under the character form categories there is something with all sorts of { } etc and I have no clue how to handle that.

OK, well, I found an answer to one of my questions already! Found the hidden code words. That's progress!

When posting up your app, just copy/paste all the stuff that's in the white box, which contains the BBCode that will put in bold the stuff in bold in the application layout above it. Just make sure that you put your stuff in after the [/ b] bits, so that the code will work right.

Well, I'm kinda need some ideas to picture these capms at this time. So if you could provide me with some kind of description of what was it like being in these camps, I would appreciate that. In your own words, of course, three sentense at least, preferable 10-15. I don't mind having different of point of view on this matter, I'm kinda in need of ideas. Thanks.

For exemple I like to know if these were only tent camps or they actually staid in one place for years and had houses? What kind of officer lead them? Who give the job to whom? Did they stay close to certain cities or they were in the middle of no where? Were there merchants around or out of the camp? Anything about treating women, usual needs and things they were missing?

They would have had tents, at least for officers. Private soldiers made do with blankets and greatcoats. Any towns or villages would be visited only briefly, with the army being on the march. If a halt was ordered near a village or town, it was possible for men to be billetted in houses for the night.

Presently, we're marching through inland Portugal, so it's a lot of sleeping out in the open if you're not lucky enough to have a tent.
