Terpsy's middies' berth/s

I needed to edit something else with regards to the post about Terpsy's layout, which made me take a second look at the lower-deck plan so wonderfully edited by Sans:



And I realised that by moving the middies down a level, I've screwed up, and we've got two empty cabins on the berthdeck level.

I propose making the larboard one the midshipmen's berth (for folks like Fletcher and Docker, with Kinsella as the senior midshipman) and the starboard one the master's mates' berth (for Leaford, St Montgomery and Brogan), and for older midshipmen. Or some sort of combination of that arrangement.

Y/N? Thoughts?

We've been through this before, the first time around when I was making the layout adaptations. I don't remember the reasons, but it got decided then that the mids would be in the orlop, and they've been there ever since. Why not leave them there, since that's where their other threads have taken place?

We could leave them down there, and have the master's mates sharing one of those free cabins up above. Or we could move them as you say, or we could just erase those empty cabins. They don't have to be there. Or we could put someone else in them. Or just ignore them.

PS - These are their respective ages in descending order.

Leaford - 19
Brogan - 18

Chandos - 17 (older)
Kinsella - 17
St Montgomery - 16
Docker - 16
Slater - 15
Fletcher - 12

Did I forget anyone? Hmm, young midshipmen tend to go for 2-syllable names ending with -er.
