Kyle Judd's letters

Captain Kyle Judd,

Dear mother and father,

It has been been some time since I've written to you both. I've been... busy as of late, trying to get myself and my company organized. I'm writing this letter to you both to tell you I am fine, and you don't need to worry. I will also include some stories of my past battles when I get back, I know father loves to hear them even though most are about me getting my wounds treated.

I've now been with 1st company of the 95th Rifle Regiment for over a few months now, and I've already been in two battles. Don't worry mother I am unharmed... sadly I wish I could say the same for some of my men who are going home. I know just reading that makes you wish I would head home but I can't. I'm sorry for that, but I couldn't leave my men. Continuing on from what I was saying, I've been in two battles. All of which were victories for us. We've earn some battle honours on our colours. It's quite something. I'm really trying my best over here, just like I was in India before I was wounded.

I have little to say right now as I can not really tell you much other than we are on the march once again, but the men are in good spirits, as well as I. Also thank you for the letters you send me, they give me hope, and strength when I'm on the march. I'll write to you both again when I get the chance.
