Greetings! :D
Hello hello!
As I just created a character, I figured I should introduce myself.
I am DebauchedSloth in the cbox (clearly a HUGE Aubrey/Maturin fan). In real life, I'm Anna.
I have a degree in ethnohistory (actually focusing on the American Revolution) so I absolutely love this stuff. I grew up reading the Aubrey/Maturin series (I've read through all 20+ of them five or six times) and the Hornblower series.
I'm a writer. Obviously, I write historical fiction. I finished the first draft of my first novel last summer (yay!) and have been doing rewrites on it ever since.
I have been rping for a little while. It actually started with a Newsies Rp (which I'm a bit embarrassed by now). And then it was Napoleonic War site consisting entirely of dispatches. Then an AU American Revolution, two Harry Potter sites, a Hobbit site, a Silmarillion site, and now this wonderful place!
I cannot wait to throw my little Frenchman into a whole bunch of threads. I am really excited to be back on a historical Rp site. Like seriously. So excited. I should have been in bed two hours ago but I just had to finish my application.
Anyway, now I'm rambling like Lord Conflert in a good mood.

Re: Greetings! :D
Hey there! Nice to have you aboard the ship! I'm Biggles, and I play basically half of the Terpsy's commanding officers: Bolitho and Bush. (As well as a Marine private and a very foolish army officer and his equally foolish brother. This would be the foolish brother here.)
Also I have to commend you on your FC choice, for obvious reasons! (Hence why I hopped over to this account!)

Heya! Another tall, hat-loathing person on Terpsy!
Nice to have you on board! I'm Marashar (Mar for short) and play Sewell, the Marine lieutenant (Very tall and very at odds with headwear), and Mitchell, the third lieutenant, as well as an Engineer, a robber, a lady, a French officer, a German rifleman and a cast of NPCs ... so if you ever have need for one of them in a thread or some plot idea, just shout.

Hello to you all!
So far, I'm absolutely loving it here. It's great to be on an active site again. And it's even greater to be on a historical site.
On an aside note: These emoticons are AWESOME!
