A Matter of Chance - a Regency RPG

- A Matter of Chance is a Regency era RP set in London, England in the year 1813 -- King George III, declared mad has been succeeded for two years by Prince Regent George IV. Britain is at war with France, and has been effectively since 1793. Jane Austen has just published Pride and Prejudice for the first time, and the timeline is set in the height of the London season -- what more could you want?
We have just begun in May of 1813. For this month's site-wide events we are pleased to present the Regiment's Ball at Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens (once you've attended a ball with fire-eaters, gymnastic performers and jugglers you will wonder why you ever attended one without them!) and a cholera pandemic is due to sweep the lower classes! There is ongoing mystery and intrigue in the Murder Most Foul special event, and we have numerous player-driven plots presently in play.
MoC is four months old and still going strong. We have a friendly community with active staff and regular events (both IC board-wide plots and spotlights/monthly challenges), so whether you are a spiffing gentleman, an elegant lady or a fire-eater at Vauxhall Gardens, why don't you join us today?
