Hello, Captain Hunter! How exciting to have a new captain around! I'm sans nom, and I play a variety of characters who are named below, as well as some random small parts now and again. (Right now, for instance, I'm playing a random French prisoner named Bezayrie, taken by the Brits.)

My player would like to remind the board that she is a teenage girl that thus any kidnapping of Private Allen's avatar is to be met with the understanding that "come on, it's David Tennant!"

Well, my player will remind the group that she may end up getting too distracted by her own icon to make coherent sense with her posts.

Same conditions apply to Lieutenant Waldegrave's avatar. What is it and the BBC 7pm Saturday slot?

De Guarde is right though - he has a very intense stare...

Waldegrave is Bradley James, AKA Arthur from Merlin. Carty is the eponymous hero.

Yes, I will admit he is staring rather intensely. I suppose I'll chalk that up to the fact that it took me ages of sorting through my Doctor Who screencaps to find a shot where he was looking more like a Marine and less like the Doctor. So that was the best one I could come up with that also fit the Marine picture I was using as a base.

I was wondering where your Carty icon came from. And now I know.

*eyes the marine suspiciously* . .Right. Just one of them marines.

( Hey, we need some of those shoes too! ..Hallmark has summat sometimes.. but rarely. *grumble*)

Stephen's stare is less 'intense' and more 'you're laughing at me, aren't you?' Meh, it's David Tennant. All his facial expressions are intense.

But just on a side note, ye peeps have any suggestion of a place where there'd be much such avatar worthy pictures to choose from? (manipulate them later, but just the material).

And to answer your question, I use screencaps from Master & Commander and Hornblower that I take myself from the DVDs, so sadly I know of no sites to recommend for picture finding.

Which is exactly why I had such a time finding a good picture of him to use.
