I seek satisfaction at dawn with you, in the plains north-east of the camp, close to the river as marked on the rather horrible drawing that you may see below. I shall await you there. I ask only that you pick your weapon of choice. Shall it be coffee or tea? And that you bring your sabre to sparr with. I hope you still remember our conversation of the 24th. Should you desire for some early morning biscuit or fresh eggs, please inform my second - the man that is delivering this message to you - immedietly.

Beside it was drawn a nice big - oversized even - steaming pot, a little table and a pair of chairs, while on the table instead of a knife, a neat set of sabres.]

Dear friend,

with this letter, my own second will appear at your tent to arrange our meeting in accordance to all rules and with the best of tastes. I shall choose coffee, and will provide the weapon, if I may. Don't go to any trouble on my account, though - a piece of toast will be perfectly fine. I will look forward to meeting you and working up an appetit before.
