- fair-skinned
- bright red hair, cut medium short and usually tousled
- green-greyish eyes
- pronounced ears
- generally an open and happy expression - or righteous fury
- only of moderate height, but well-muscled
- musical voice
- only a few small scars sofar

Strengths and Weaknesses:
- speaks Gaelic and understands most other Celtic languages
- prides himself in his good English, which really isn't bad, though heavily accented
- is very eager to fight, though inexperienced
- a hothead with a sometimes rather careless way of doing things
- easily angered, but it doesn't last long
- more often than not, he can't keep his mouth shut
- he sometimes tends to stir up trouble, mostly about the English being soft
- he is a capable fighter and a good shot, can easily climb the rigging and in general is willing to work
- he is afraid of nearly nothing - and if he is, he would never admit it
- he can read if given a lot of time
