How does your character write?
I recently have produced a pic of a letter Torry has written; it has some added sentences by Willoughby. This led to a discussion of our characters' handwriting skills and how their script would look. So I am curious: How do you imagine your characters write?
Torrington uses a nice copperplate that looks like A Theme for Murder and a much looser scribble for notes with pencil or if he writes hastily (I had another font for it, but can't recall the name atm).
Freddie approaches writing like a wedding: Done as few times as possible, needs a lot of preparation and care, and when acctually occuring shoud be as perfect as possible - and also utterly exhausting. His hand (or rather the result of his artistic efforts) looks like Excellentia in Excelsis. His spelling is rather artistic as well.
Sewell's hand looks like Soli Deo Gloria. He writes rather large letters with clear lines between, but few words.
Prayon can write like Indenture English Penman, as he is actually trained to write business records, but he usually writtes sloppy on purpose - and half the time not even he himself can properly read what he scribbled down then. It looks something like Cutty Fruty.

Re: How does your character write?
When I reproduced Vickery's letters, I used Jellyka Gare du Chambord for him... and then you used Byron for his addition to Rottlaender's note. And I quite like that, so I might switch him to that font.
Emma definitely uses Ersatz Quality.
Their brother Robert writes in US Declaration
Can't remember what the others write in, though.
Re: How does your character write?
Pye at the moment writes like this: X x X x... or at least he signs himself in this fashion. When he will learn to write, his writing will probably resemble this one: Arsenale White Font At least at first. When it evolves, I'll add more to that!
Re: How does your character write?
Generally Willoughby would have this style of writing: Windsong and sometimes the swoops and all would be even more elaborate. Of course when in haste, it would look worse, but that's the usual with people!
Re: How does your character write?
Jeremy Mitchell: Dark Roast.
Artair MacTavish:Valley Forge in rather large and uneven lines.
The Earl of Gleve: Ginette, though most official stuff is of course written by his secretary.
The Countess of Gleve: Jane Austen.
James Walham: HL Thuphap 1BK.
Lady Isabella Walham: Nathaniel a Mystery.
Antoine Marie Sourette: Ralph Walker, usually rather narrowly, in recent times usually a bit sloppy.

Re: How does your character write?
Actually, I think I've done Emma's signature most recently in Jefferson...
Sam Oxley doesn't read or write, but when - if! - he ever learns, I think it might turn out something like Inkpen Scribble... after a lot of practise.
Tom Oxley's mark (he also being illiterate) is in Chippy Handwriting, and i think that's what his writing would be like too - although if someone teaches him soon, it could develop into something a lot nicer, with practice.
Thompson's writing will eventually look like Jellyka St Andrew's Queen although currently it's more like I drawed this
Cotton, concentrating fiercely, produces something like Scrawly-wawly
Terry Button, being still young, needs to be taught quick, and will likely end up writing a beautiful hand (though he's left-handed, and (I think) dyslexic on top. Poor kid.) Though until he develops that, he'll have something like Shabby Ball Point.

Re: How does your character write?
Xddd sorry - I think I will always have the picture of Cotton, tongue firmly between his teeth, in my head now. :p
Re: How does your character write?
Don't worry, that's pretty much how he writes!
