Talavera and a news update

First things, first... Latin has told me that she definitely will not be rejoining StC even after her university course has finished. Therefore her characters have been archived.

Secondly, I do not want to plan out every minor detail of Talavera because over-planning kills events. I will be posting a short summary of the historical battle and then opening the event. Things may, or may not, pan out according to how the fight went historically - finding out what will happen in the course of RPing it is half the fun of actually RPing, after all. (This is why over-planning kills events!!)

Thirdly, I propose to bring the actual RP event of Talavera forward to May 2013 to coincide with StC's fifth birthday.

That's sad about Latin but real life comes first for all of us so it is understandable.

As far as Talavera goes, I'm fine with whatever you decide. Seems to make sense we don't overplan it, we are - in the end - writing historical fiction not a history of the event.

Hope it will be fun for all!

Aww, I'll miss Latin though. I hope she'll come back and share fic with us, if she ends up writing some more of Padstowe. (Or of anyone else.)
