Sir,
Headquarters has ordered the destruction of the bridge near Pasarela. I'm not sure whether your company has been ordered to provide some men to guard us while Captain Fraser of the RHA and I lay the charges, but might I ask the favour of your advice even if not? We will be meeting tomorrow at eleven in my tent.
My orders also included the suggestion that suitable young officers should be chosen to accompany the expedition to observe and learn. May I beg your help here in naming any such officers in your company that you can spare to me?
