A Quick poll

I'd like to to know whose (and of course, which) characters will be still alive, if not present at the Waterloo Campaign, and what their current occupation will be by then.

This, because I'm more and more thinking about writing a story (or multiple ) about this campaign. Naturally, I will not use anyone's character without permission.

Of mine, John Vickery and Gabriel Cotton will both be around then (Vickery's likely to be a staff officer, though, as his regiment wasn't actually present at the battle.)

All my current chars will still be alive at Waterloo. Torry will likely be a staff officer as well, Rottlaender still his batman. Torry is supposed to get wounded and loose a hand at Waterloo.

Bastien is fighting on the French side and a Colonel by then, you would find him somewhere in Ney's closer circle.

Colonel Beuret is dead, possibly murdered by his wife - or at least there are some rumours to that effect.
DeChagney fell at Toulouse.

Sewell has been promoted and is somewhere on the Atlantic on his way back from the Americas, presumably.

So I suppose Bastien will be charging the squares?

I still have no idea where to add Duuring. I found a way of adding him to the army (turned out we used conscription).
As Duuring has a close family and a future outside of the army, I couldn't really picture him joining the army again for regular service. At the other hand, we were amazing at keeping records, so a veteran from the Peninsular war would surely be called

For my characters: Fraser died somewhere in the Peninsula, either by a cannonball to the head or an unfortunate meeting with some French Dragoons on the field of battle. Guus is either still on the Terpy or deserted when they were at some colonial place.

Bastien will be charging anything British/Allied he can - including squares and cannon.
