Random question

(Because I like the random stuff!)

In conversation with Kins, we got talking about whether our characters tan, and if so, how much so. So... Here's my conclusions.

Canonically, we know Sharpe tans dark. Cotton tans dark, Vickery gets a tan but less so. Thompson burns, then tans. Oxley is likely just to burn (poor lad) though he might tan if they head out to the Caribbean or somewhere. I don't have a clue about Button. And Emma Vickery wouldn't be allowed to tan (pale is fashionable) but would go a delicate brown if she were allowed to, English summers not being so fierce as Spanish ones.

So - what about your guys and girls? I'm curious...

Torrington tans, but not very much. After that he probably burns, if out too long. Freddy gets red, then tans dark.

Prayon gets honey-coloured and his hair sun-bleached.

Sewell burns easily and will probably never manage a real dark tan.

OMG, never thought about this. I think, that Hunter (basing my knowledge on the actor whose face I used for avatar) tans but not very dark and is likely to burn nose/shoulders/neck than tan.

Would say that Duff tans dark and Helen does as well.
