Q - About these promotions..

(Don't you like it how I put Q in front to show that this thread is a question or query, not a game thread? Clever, huh?)
When/how is the wardroom going to find out about Cartwright's promotion? Is it safe to say the ship will be buzzing with the news before it's been formally announced? Well, maybe not the WHOLE ship buzzing, but at least other wardroom servants like Markham might know. And they might let other residents of the wardroom know. So they can throw a surprise party, or sulk in the spirit room, or whatnot.
Sorry if it's already been discussed and planned. I can't remember.

I'd imagine that Foley will accidentally on purpose let it slip. Or maybe the great cabin sentry has overheard and passed the word. Markham may have heard too.
Either way, I suspect some form of celebration in the wardroom when it becomes widely known. ^_^
