Hello
Hey~
Well, I’ve always been terrible with introductions, (I’m much better with direct questions, so if there’s anything you want to know, just ask ) I’ll try to keep this short and sweet to avoid rambling:
In short, I’m your average student: I spend a lot of my free time playing videogames (with Dishonored being my current passion); doodling; listening to music; watching classic sci-fi series and reading excessively.
I’m around pretty much every day and usually up for plotting and working out threads; so just shoot me a message if you have any ideas~

Re: Hello
Avoid rambling?!
I'm Sharpie (currently posting under one of my half-dozen IC accounts), I'm employed part-time at a local tourist attraction, I read, write fic (on occasion), have recently learned how to vid.
And over summer I can be found actually trying to live in the early 19th century as a re-enactor in a Napoleonic-era unit recreating the 50th Regiment of Foot.
My current characters are John Vickery and Gabriel Cotton of the 60th, George Thompson and Tom Oxley of the Royal Marines (though the latter's moved back into his box recently. Must get him out to play more often!) and Terry Button, ship's boy.

Re: Hello
I have a slight tendency to ramble: there are some subjects I can prattle on about for days fortunately I don't tend to ramble about myself; unfortunately it makes writing personal statements agonising.
Hi Sharpie; that sounds interesting, what kind of tourist attraction? The only attraction we have here is an aquarium, it's good. But really expensive.
Oh wow! That's ace is it an annual thing?

Re: Hello
Hello Copper! I'm sans. I play several characters around, including a couple of camp followers, so your character will probably run into mine some time.
Is your Beatrice sister to Capt. George Hunter? Or is the name just a coincidence?

Hey Sans, nice to meet you

Re: Hello
I have an urge to type this in French, buuut...
Hello there Copper! Welcome to the site. I'm Koenig. I play French Royalist, and British Rifle Lieutenant, Jean Delacroix. As well as a young infantryman named Mark Holmes. And one of these days I'll get around to finishing the app for my Royal Marine.
Like you, I'm a student, I also reenact. (Alas, Napoleonic Wars reenacting isn't very common here in the US, so I do WWII)
Also, Sharpie! I didn't know you were reenactor!
And of course, I'm always open for a thread.

Re: Hello
And yes, Copper. There's Delacroix around as well. *headdesks*
I seriously fail at remembering what characters there are on my own board.

Re: Hello
Don't worry, If I ever make any more characters, I'm sure I'll start forgetting them.

Re: Hello
You lucky bastard
What do you re-enact again, Koening?
I'm Casper btw. This is one of my three characters (A dutch Corporal), though Henry Fraser is really my main character (even though Duuring is older )

Re: Hello
US K Company, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division "Old Hickory" for WWII.
Though I am moving next year, and it seems like there are a few more options, time-period-wise, where I'm going too. So I'll probably start another impression when I move.

Re: Hello
Howdy! I'm Keiju, resident NPC puppeteer. My characters range across the scale, starting with a French soldier (Rosy Blanchard) and going to a British seaman (Cob Chase), thence to a couple Royal Marines, and onward to assorted British soldiers (Ben Blackwood and Pip Mayfield of the Second Guards, James Todd the 5/60th's surgeon, and Jack Kirridge and Sam Mayden of the 2/95th.)
I'm a gamer too, of the console variety - I've got two Xboxes. Actually I'm in the midst of marathoning through a couple new games. Hence my lack of appearances round here lately.
*gets out some cake* Whee!

Re: Hello
That is quite a range
I prefer the PS3, however I do have an xbox (I love Fable); which new games? Have you played the new Assassin's Creed yet?
*yay cake!*

Re: Hello
It is, but I like to keep a harem variety.
I got the two BF: Bad Company games and L.A. Noire. Admittedly I'm behind the curve with the Assassin's Creed series, having never finished the first game, but I'm working on it! (I tend to wait until new games have been out for a while before buying them because it's a bit cheaper that way.)
Cake is love.

Re: Hello
L.A. Noire has to be one of my favourite games. The only problem with the xbox version is the three discs but other than that it's pretty near perfect

Re: Hello
This is heartening! I'd read good reviews for it and was intrigued by its trailer, so I finally got around to buying it. It's next on my list to play.

Re: Hello
It's excellent, the story is really engaging and you can find yourself intending to play for half an hour and wind up playing for the best part of day just to see what happens next.
Be careful though, some cases almost saw me throwing the controller at the screen because my driving in the car chases was just appalling

Re: Hello
Whoo! I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out now.
And car chases? Excellent! I'm a terrible virtual-car-driver so those will be adventures all their own. ^_____^

Re: Hello
Yeah, there are a few car chases, made more difficult by the fact you have to drive though alleyways and heavy traffic. And chain-link fences can’t be driven through :/ it’s good fun though.
