Description: Average in height, he does look to be 'shorter' than his horse. But have no fear, he's up in the saddle right in time with the best of 'em. His hair is chestnut brown, eyes a distinct hue of green. Not too bad looking fellow, he is soft spoken, unless excited about a thing. Quick in temper he is also rather quick to cool down, but shall not back down if challenged.
So far he has carried with him a Paget and his sabre, but the fall has rendered his first useless and lost somewhere beneath his deceased animal. The saber has gained an improper curve and lost a part of it's end also to the happenings of that day. Recently though, on July 23rd, 1809, he has been promoted and given a new sabre and sash.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Strengths:
- An excellent rider, this lad could've well been born on his horse. He has ridden since a young child and has little problem with taming a horse, if a foreign one.
- Still young he doesn't lack in spirit, which perhaps the cavalry has often quite a great deal too much. On the few occasions offered he has been known (as others) to chase down the enemy, till being forced to withdraw or return in victory against them.
- A high-spirited lad he is eager to lend a hand, yet less eager to chat away about his past experiences.
- Unlike his peers his interests do not lie in taverns, pubs and women, so while at such a stop, he's been found rather in the stables, tending to the horse's needs and has been the last to enter any such establishment. Knowing his merit, he has not yet been caught ungentlemanly drunk, though in his hotter spirits, has been already in a situation where he was challenged to a duel.
- With his record as a good shot, and accepting that as a weapon of choice in a duel, it is not unimaginable as to who has won. The later skill derives in great portion from his days as a young gent, where the hunting and at times other games have been played (such as types of challenges in riding) in which the youth's imagination as to what to play, has had no bounds.

Weaknesses:
- He is not a good conversationalist with the ladies and can be quite shy around them. Because of being eager to not sadden or offend a girl, he had been fooled by them in the past and probably will be in the future as well.
- He is not particularly good at standing the cold and is probably very grateful for the hussar's rather warm garments.
- His spirits have found him fighting a duel before, and he does not take offense lightly. He does not excuse someone for being ignorant of the offense when they insist on refusing to apologize for it.
- His shyness extends to singing. While a good singer, he would need some pressing to show it. Playing a violin is a different matter however.
- She strives for the confirmation from others. Sometimes it gets him carried away so that he forgets that it should not really matter and that just because someone does not aknowledge his efforts it does not mean them without worth.
- His physique will not work in his favour if a brawl breaks out. And while he may have learned a few 'cheap tricks' in his time, in a fight he will probably try to refrain from using them. This of course, if the opponent does not have similar sensibilities, can work against him and turn out badly.
- His youth may be the cause of some of somewhat poorly thought over, and daft decisions he had made so far.
- He can hold a grudge for a long time if he feels particularly slighted and will not shy from a duel.

Background: Lost his parents at four years old, has been raised mostly by his grandfather and in part also by his aunt Susannah and played with her children when young. Attended the same school as Edward Torrington's older brother and also met him there.

Anything Else:
Estates either owned by Timothy or his grandfather:
Horseheath Hall, Cambridgeshire
Lansdowne House, London
Gwydir Estate, Conwy Valley, Wales
Shaw Hall, Lancashire
Rievley Abbey Estate (present inspiration from Netley and Rievalux Abbey)

Horses:
1. Richard - a horse he rode mostly when back home with his grandfather. He had taken part in many competitions they've created, with his peers. The hardest thing it was to part with him to pursue his chosen 'career'.
2. Bayard - A horse he was appointed when becoming a Hussar. Sadly killed in action. He was very fond of the animal, and bears his loss with a heavy heart.
3. Bella - a bitey young mare, that is rather lively, impatient and likes to test her boundaries. Present mount. Of Lusitano heritage. She is eager to train, so there might yet hold a great future. Like her mane, she also has a black tail and legs ending somewhere around the knees. There might be surprises in store with this lady.
Colour: Buckskin
Breed: Lusitano

4. Herrero - Latest mount, a leopard spotted horse that looks like he would be great at hiding somewhere at the end or beginning of winter. He is proud, and most certainly believes that an officer is only one worthy enough to be carried on his back. Possibly Portuguese andalusian(later lusitano) or even mix of lusitano and Spanish Jennet.

5.  Fairplay - Lively, intelligent horse with an easy gait and a comfortable gait. Excellent hind leg, and a good, controlled walk. His pelt is 'red' while the mane is of a slightly lighter hue. Very obedient and easy enough to handle in hands of an experienced rider.

Other Hussars:

- Captain Heylinger, Augustus - Strict, stern, proud. Discipline is high on his list. A fair man who does not want to suffer shame. Will judge objectively, considering facts given. A gentleman by all means and battle concerned. Enjoys reading, a well versed tactician. Humble of his skill.

- Lieutenant Henderson, Wilfred - Married though he had been seen enjoying company of ladies. His wife is a sickly, pale girl who has not yet been able to give him children. His mother in law is a woman one would find reason to whimper about. Career-driven, he is a man who would delight in glory and would be certain enough to seek it fervently.

- Cornett Burlingame, William - Lax and sometimes as much part of the group as the rest of them. Still takes on authority over others if needed, but as a young officer in learning, he does it much less. Has a tiny bit of a trouble with gambling -

- Troopers:

Clapp, Kenley - A year younger than Timothy. Speaks more than is good for him, a very cheerful personality, and always up to no good (if asked even more). Has played bait and 'Frenchman' for the antics of his fellow Hussars. Does much of work for his  elder peers.

Kerr, Lyre - A handsome lad, that though he is a mere trooper, charms ladies into believing he's at the very least the General of the army. A proud man, he hasn't the upbringing of a gentleman, but needs little help with words.

Forbes, 'Piper' John - A rowdy man, able with horses, broadchested and stocky. Has a heavy accent which sometimes brings his attempts of humour to an array of blank faces. Fierce with a sabre yet a lot less keen to go for anything but good ol' slash and cut routine. Very brave. Likes lasses... a lot.

Williamson , John - Gambles just about anything from what kind of weather it will be the next day, which horse will trip, how many times, when they'll meet the French, who'll be the first to get a yelling at and of course with cards and more. He's often borrowing coin and has been suspected of stealing his share. Not yet caught in the act. Can talk one into lending him money with the best of words. He has been said to have arms of a bear. Perhaps the reason not too many had yet demanded he pay his money back in more than kindest requests.

Hadfield, Thorne - A slim, yet muscled looking man, he seems to carry a frown on his face near all the time. Older than most of the others, he has seen action and carries the scars on his flesh to tell the story. One particular runs across his shoulder and another breaks unsightly from his ear to his cheekbone. He teases and taunts the polite 'high' talk of Timothy most frequently. And is the ring leader of any such entertainments. Joined the army after a scandal, though nobody knows what went on. Doesn't drink in company.

Eliott, Henry - A reserved man, somewhat religious. Lanky and willowy.

Additional notes:

- The full name:
They became hussars in 1807, as the 15th (The King's) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons (Hussars).
The title was simplified in 1861 to the 15th (The King's) Hussars

Is used in shorter version in game.

Things I need to remember and reference for anyone needing:
Willoughby was with the active 15th in Spain, there to some time before Sahagun. He is then wounded and goes back to Lisbon to recuperate. Due to this, he can't rejoin his company, which is at the time already in headlong flight to Corunna. He is instead linked up with the new troop (the replacements which have arrived late?), which goes on to Coimbra.
When the event of the meeting of French happens, the fresh recruits have already been in Coimbra, but were out on patrol, looking for the men that blew the bridge up (the one that KGL also has been looking for).
The troop (inexperienced as they are) went a bit too far south. The reason for their going is in part to 'find the men responsible for the bridge destruction' and also as a sort of training exercise for the new recruits. Due to the later, distraction and 'training' leads them to stray further away than they have thought and also stumble across some of the French in the territory which was thought to be mostly Free of them.

- Amusing things said about British cavalry:
The British cavalry
   - "Gallops at everything."
  - "Once you release the light cavalry and the heavy cavalry, they'll be more or less a one shot weapon"
  - "They galloped of and then they tried to steal whatever they could from the French Baggage wagon, or never be seen for the rest of the day."
   - It was Wellington who said: "It is occasioned entirely by the trick our
officers of cavalry have acquired of galloping at everything and their
galloping back as fast as they gallop on the enemy... They never
consider the situation, never think of manoeuvering before an enemy,
and never keep back or provide for a reserve." (seen that mentioned a couple of times)
- The Light cavalry would go out and scout and skirmish. The heavy cavalry were used to charge down and break formation. - and then they rode of not to return for the rest of the day. (XD)

++++ His 'place of origin' at present is thought to be Heathfield, Cambridgeshire.
London estate of grandfather's is situated in Barkeley square, Lansdowne House.+++
