Due to the transition and the huge amount of work copying the threads over, there will probably be a large amount of threads that will not be continued on new board, right? So I would propose that we make a list here of threads people want to finish or bring to a point where they can reasonably be restarted in a new thread on new board.

Especially in cases of threads where players want a certain plot element to occur before they can be closed, I guess it would be a good idea to state that.

For example:

Preparations for Extraction, Meanwhile, Horsing Blues: I propose to bring all threads to the point where the different groups will meet, and start a new thread in new forum. If we want a cliffhanger, they would probably need a few posts more, but not many, and the posts can work straight towards that goal.

Another day in paradise: One post each could finish that one as well, unless somebody wants to play it out more? Anything following can be said in new thread.

Water: Probably a candidate for copy/paste? If wanted, I volunteer to do it.

Payday: Close it? We can start a new thread instead for some different incident.

Payday can be closed - if it's not at a point right now where it can be done, it can certainly be brought to that point quite quickly.

The hunting/shooting thread can be copied over, I think - I can do that if you don't mind all the posts looking like they're from my accounts... or we can collaborate together and move it between us.

The extraction thread... I'm not sure where things are with that thread-group ATM. Get them extracted and carry on, on the new board?

I would also like to point out that the new board is already open for making accounts and posting, and the more posting we continue to do here until the closing day mean we'll have more stuff to copy over if you want to 'keep' it - which is the wrong word as the board's going to simply be turned off for new accounts and new posts, it's not going to be deleted.

Hunting: Sharpie, if you start copying, we can do it jointly - it would be less confusing in my opinion.

Water: Since they are in fact not rat hunting, but have to shift very heavy water caskets, they would need more things than just two sailors, one of which can't actually lift heavy stuff. So how about explaining problem, and Mitchell goes to organize block and tackle and a fatigue detail (never to come back again), and the new thread can set in after they have all these organizational details in place?

Extraction: Basically we have to decide whether the French stumble over the hussars first or the bandits, and then we need a couple of posts accordingly.

Payday: Agreed

Water: Sad *clings to Mitchell* ..it makes no sense for him to never appear again imho. I mean....did he fall in the black hole that suddenly appeared in the middle of the ship and why did not the whole crew disappear then too?

Extraction: Doubt it will be finished before the need to get across to the other side.. site.
