No. I don't think so.

Do you think you would be charming enough to make someone else change sides?

Certainly not.

If someone betrayed your trust, do you think they could ever earn it again?

Depends. But maybe. I don't know. Depends what they did to betray my trust and what they did to regain it.

Who betrayed your trust?

Yes.

Would you love someone even if the society forbade you. ..like..um..like if your family was of a different standing than the one you loved, or they were disliking each other or... any other reason, really.

I'd love her, yes. But whether and how we would act on it would depend on the circumstances. I'm not in a position to marry for love alone.

Do you like to be drunk?

I enjoy a drink - a glass of brandy after dinner, for example. I have only been known to get drunk a very few times.

Do you prefer wine or beer?

It depends on the occasion. I like wine with my dinner, but when hunting, for example, beer is very welcome.

Do you hunt?

Because you haven't enough sense in your head to see beyond your own little ideas. Don't you see that the Emperor tries to bring good laws, and roads, and a working gouvernment into this godforsaken medieval country?

Don't you think that's important?

*sagely* It ain't jus' France though... Wasn't no need for him to go anywheres near Westphalia or Hanover or Prussia or anywheres, was there? Let alone Spain an' Portugal. 'Cause they ain't France.

Why're you in the Army anyhow? (Or the Navy, whichever one of 'em you'm in.)

Because I was given the opportunity to rise above my station. This too was what he made possible! Skill rather than birth gets you higher. It certainly is better than having men, who do not understand war, to prance in pretty uniforms thinking they are grand heroes for it.

Do you not think other countries deserved to be enlightened and be rid of the practices, such as the inquisition?

*very cooly* Certainly. Especially of such practices as octroyage and oppression. Isn't the whole reason of enlightenment that people can choose for themselves?

Would you fight for the enemy, were you born there?
